Dallas L. Rakestraw is a native of Wichita, Kansas. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas majoring in Political Science and English (B.A., 2003). He obtained his legal education at the University of Kansas School of Law (J.D., 2006).
Mr. Rakestraw maintains
an active practice representing injured workers and their
employers. He has successfully argued workers' compesation
cases in the Kansas Appellate courts. He has also been a
speaker on various workers' compensation issues.
Mr. Rakestraw received the CALI Excellence
Award for top grade in Advanced Bankruptcy: Business Reorganizations.
He was also selected for inclusion on the 2009 Missouri & Kansas
Rising Stars List by Super Lawyers magazine for
his work representing clients in bankruptcy proceedings.
Mr. Rakestraw practices in the areas of workers’ compensation, bankruptcy law, and creditor's rights. He is licensed to practice in the courts of the State of Kansas, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Kansas. Mr. Rakestraw is a member of the Wichita Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association and the Wichita Young Lawyers Association.
