Edward L. Keeley is a graduate of Washburn University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1975) and received his legal education at Arizona State University (J.D., magna cum laude, 1978). While attending law school, he was an author and editor of the Arizona State Law Journal, and clerked for the Arizona House of Representatives Task Force on Organized Crime, as well as the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Keeley was an Assistant County Counselor for Sedgwick County, Kansas. He is a Board Member of the Sedgwick County Department of Mental Health Advisory Board. Mr. Keeley’s practice includes insurance defense and the representation of governmental entities, businesses and employees in all types of civil rights, tort and Employment Law matters, including excessive force and false arrest claims, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, Title VII, wage and hour claims and noncompete agreements. He has handled several class action lawsuits and numerous other actions involving overtime claims, and he has authored various articles and lectured on the Fair Labor Standards Act. He also has extensive experience involving 42 U.S.C. 1983 and other federal civil rights statutes, as well as the Kansas Tort Claims Act.

Mr. Keeley is a member of the Wichita Bar Association and Kansas Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in the courts of the State of Kansas, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
