Jennifer Hill is a native of Wichita, Kansas. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana with a double major in History and English (B.A., 2000). Ms. Hill obtained her legal education from Washburn University (J.D., 2003) and was admitted to the Kansas bar in 2003. While in law school, she obtained a certificate in tax law. She was the chair of the 2001 Barrister’s Ball, an annual charity auction for law students, and served as an officer in Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and was the recipient of the President’s Scholarship, providing her a full academic scholarship to Washburn Law School.
Ms. Hill concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance defense, Civil Litigation, Employment Law, Personal Injury, workers’ compensation and estate planning. Ms. Hill is also a certified civil mediator and is on the federal reference lists for alternative dispute resolution.
Ms. Hill is licensed to practice in the courts of the State of Kansas, the United
States District Court for the District of Kansas and the Tenth Circuit Court
of Appeals. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association,
Kansas Bar Foundation, Wichita Bar Association, Kansas Women Attorneys Association
and Wichita Women Attorneys Association. Ms. Hill was named to the Wichita
Business Journals “Top 40 Under 40” in
2007. She was named “Kansas Bar Association Most Outstanding
Young Lawyer” in 2008.
She is currently serving as President of the Kansas Bar Association, Young
Lawyers Section.
She previously served as President (2008-2009); President Elect (2007-2008),
Vice President (2006-2007) and Social Chair (2005-2006) for the Wichita Young
Lawyers. She also previously served as the President (2008-2009); President
Elect (2007-2008), Program Director (2006-2007), Secretary (2005-2006) and
Special Project Chair (2004-2005) for the Wichita Women Attorneys Association.
She also previously served as President Elect (2008-2009); Secretary-Treasurer
(2007-2008) and Social Chair (2006-2007) for the KBA Young Lawyers. Ms. Hill
is also an active member of the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Wichita and is a
staff writer for the Barometer, the Wichita Bar Association’s monthly
newsletter. In addition, Ms. Hill is a regular volunteer at the Lord’s
Diner and raised over $700 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Lock
Up for Kids in 2007.
